The next workshop I am so, so excited about.
Rooted in Place: Botanical Printing & Local Ecology A full day Botanical and Printmaking Retreat at Our Lady of the Prairie, a place that is so incredibly close to my heart. Here’s the skinny:
When: 6/27/26
10am-4pm
Step into a day that changes how you observe the natural world around you. You’ll develop the eye of a naturalist and the curiosity of an artist, leaving with both the knowledge to read ecological relationships and the skills to capture them in prints.

We’ll be learning about our local prairie fauna, and creating a mixed media art Nature Journal to capture various botanical printmaking techniques. Come an enjoy a day on the prairie, walk the meditation labyrinth, and spend the day in creative nature.
Last but not least, don’t forget to take advantage of the Studio 2 Makings Free Winter Nature Journal Starter Pack! Designed to be used on your favorite tablet, or as a printable nature journal, this resource is a fun free tool to add to your creative practice to keep things warm this winter. Enjoy!
