Gauntlet October has Concluded

Seriously. We had a jam-packed month of creative events, workshops, and pop-ups partnering with The Artery, Steam on Wheels, The Bettendorf Public Library, and more!. Thank you from the bottom of all of the hearts for your support- from saying hi at events, attending a workshop with a friend, referring us to a new venue, to sharing out or commenting on social media posts. Every outreach is seen, felt, and so very much appreciated!!

After The Big Rest of November (more on that later) Studio 2 has some sweet holiday-themed workshops planned, and newsletter subscribers are the first to get date releases:

Growing at the Makerspace

Some of you may know that I spend time in collaboration with Steam on Wheels. Look at what we have been up to lately! Here’s a peek at the latest on our indoor food garden.

Indoor garden check in! one of the cool things about my freelance endeavors is that I somehow landed myself a gig growing food in a makerspace for local youth. we use these growing for cooking and nutrition classes. have you ever grown hydroponic before? #hydroponics #garden #indoorgarden

We grow this food to use for cooking classes and nutritional programming with local youth. Last time we made Rainbow Salsa! If you want to peek a cameo of Meg in a chef hat, hop on over to the Steam on Wheels Instagram.

Out of Office: The Big Rest

And that brings us to our Out of Office Hours for The Big Rest! I’ll be in Southeast Asia on a highly anticipated dream-exploration trip for the month of November. Eep!
