Greeting from Winter Hibernation!
I’ve been inspired by video/collage artist Kyle Mccarthy after discovering him on Tiktok a few years ago. His work has had a huge impact on how I approach experimenting in my own collage, both analog, and digital. Throughout my analog collages, video collage, and prior installation work, I’ve always wanted to attempt to create ephemeral movement within my pieces. Video as a format to animate movement has been an absolute game changer for me in regards to opening up possibilities that once lived in my imagination. I’m looking forward to continue to experiment with my love of video/design software as a tool to approach my mixed media collage goals.
