I made this video collage…animation…thing…in Blender. Using a photo from my trip to Iceland, maps and illustrations from the public domain , and Blender’s Grease Pencil, I made this little thang as a practice and experiment.
Working in collage is a great way to stay loose, throw perfection out the window, and have some fun. I’m really enjoying a new way to approach collage digitally, it feels like an evolution from my papercut collage shadowboxes of times past.
