A friend and I visited Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, New Mexico over my Fall Break. It. Was. Breathtaking.

Meow Wolf is an internationally known, immersive art experience founded in 2008 by a collective of artists. Their current show, House Of Eternal Return, was what was on display when we visited.
This guy was one of my favorites. His eyes slowly opened and closed, like a very sleepy dude.
Some of my favorite photos. You can see individual photos on my Instagram.
The exhibit was factory-sized, and totally interactive. We made our way through rooms of lives once lived, worlds set apart from reality, touch and sound-responsive displays, and hidey-holes found inside glowing trees, refrigerator doors, behind faux-bookshelves, and inside an LED-lit washer-door from another world (yes, a washer door.).
Visiting Meow Wolf could not have been more well-timed as I prepare my own last-minute exhibition of I Am Building A Forest for Ars Technica, a local Arts and Technology exhibit on display at the Colorado Springs Mini Maker Faire.

I wish I could be there to see the event, but I will be in another city with my Robotics Team for the 2018 BEST Robotics Competitions! Woot! If you happen to attend the Maker Faire, let me know your thoughts and experiences in the comments below. 🙂
