And Then There Were Two- Alice in Wonderland Shadowbox Process

…And then there were two.

As I prepare for market, every free day off needs to net something new. Where yesterday there was one, now we have two. Here are a few iphone photos from the process:

As my old camera setup begins to collect dust, and the new camera setup desired is just a little too far out of reach at the moment, I find myself continually relying on iPhone photography.

However, the nature of these shadowboxes make them particularly challenging to photograph, and I’m beginning to think about other options. Should I build an iphone-sized softbox for correct lighting? Should I invest in a few iPhone lenses? iPhone photography suits all of my needs in my blogging and Etsy store endeavors.   1. I’d say that Iphone tech is such that you could easily make lighting to cope, or just download apps that will do what you want. I’ve found that in neutral light the iphone is quite good, not so much with contrast-y things. Awesome work btw. I love those classic AIW illustrations.
