Studio 2

Studio 2 offers mixed media arts experiences, workshops, private events, and community building activities in the Quad Cities and Greater Midwest region. Educationally, our specialty is STEAM instruction with a heavy focus on ecology, conservation, and sustainable practices.

About the Owner:

Meg Hollister is a multi-disciplinary artist, educator, and sustainable community advocate from the Quad Cities Metropolitan area. Meg holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Her Bachelor of Arts Undergraduate roots in painting and illustration can be found at St. Ambrose University.

Meghan has spent the last decade working in education in the public, private, and independent sectors with a specialization in eco arts-focused STEAM instruction and workshops. Meghan Co-founded the Midwest’s first eco-arts gallery Zola in 2012. Meghan has a positive and growing track record of having successfully worked with entities such as: The Putnam Museum , The Figge Art Museum, Rivermont Collegiate, VSA Iowa, The City of Davenport, Steam on Wheels, GameU, and more.

Meghan has exhibited locally, as well as received regional and international publication in written and visual work. Meghan has several permanent mural installations located in Davenport, IA. She has served as a Commission member for the Rock Island Arts and Beautification Council, and currently volunteers with The Wild Ones Quad Cities and The Clean River Advisory Council.
